VISITING PILOTS

ANOTHER LANGUAGE. THE SAME SKY.

Welcome to the West. Before flying, introduce yourself to the club: we’ll help you understand our sites and their particular features.

A new site always begins with a briefing.
A new site always begins with a briefing.
01

Before you arrive.

Send us your visiting dates, flying experience, equipment and the sites you’d like to explore. If you’re bringing a group or school, also tell us how many pilots are coming.

02

On the ground, together.

Ask for a briefing on access, parking, takeoffs, landings, obstacles, pilot traffic and local rules. Always confirm access and the availability of landing areas.

03

Before every flight.

Check weather, airspace, current restrictions and any activation procedures. Confirm the validity and suitability of your qualifications and insurance for flying in Portugal.

04

Leave the place better than you found it.

Respect landowners, vegetation, other users and the club’s guidance. Take your rubbish with you and support the upkeep of the spaces we share.

BEFORE YOU FLY

This page is not an operational briefing or permission to fly. Each pilot is responsible for their decision and must check current conditions and rules.
